Model: Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Old router Deco model DWR-2000M is cutting out continuously.

I've installed the SIM card from the old router into the new Deco X50-5G router and powered up so the blue LED light is flashing.

In the WiFi page of my phone I see the new WiFi identified as Deco_42A0 but there's no internet connection.

The QR code has opened the existing tp-link app from the previous router. There are no instructions to follow in order to activate the new router.

How do I proceed from here?

  @Renatsky

Hi, you might need to download the Deco APP first in order to set up Deco X50-5G:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/deco-x50-5g/#video

The default SSID is used to help the Deco APP detect Deco X50-5G, and it doesn't have internet access.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
