Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.7.0

 I notice the latency when I play online games at ps5 go 20+ higher and drops to normal every 5 seconds with some packet loss 3% even I have connected with Ethernet cable from router to ps5. Ho I can fix it?

  @Kiriakos5

Hi, apart from Deco, did you have another WiFi router?

I think maybe the CPU of M4 is not powerful enough to handle online gaming now. If there is another DHCP router, you can set Deco M4 into Access Point mode to only extend the network, instead of managing network traffic: How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

@Kiriakos5 Did you download the firmware through Deco app/website or through the "public preview" page here?

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

Hi, is PS5 connected to the main Deco M4?

Could you please share any screenshots of the online gaming latency?

How much of your internet bandwidth?

Did the issue start just after the 1.7.0 firmware upgrade?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP  I have one Deco only and ps5 is connected directly to it. my speed is 32mp upload and latency spikes go from 50 - 120 every 5 Sec I had this problem 2 years now when my kid was played Fortnite but it doesn't bother us much ... now when he play warzone he dies more times than the times I make my wife angry and a make her a lot
