Hi

 

Until now I used 8TB Seagate (formated as NTFS) without issues.

 

I tried to connect 20TB Seagate by default formatted as exFAT. It was recognized without issues, however many folders and files are missing when map this drive in windows via SAMBA. When I try connection via FTP I think I can see all data but FTP is not convenient for normal use. I would need to use it via Samba.

 

When connected this hardrive directly to one PC make a share and map this hardrive via SAMBA from another PC all the files/folders are there as expected, therefore I suppose that issue is in router.

 

I also tried format harddrive as NTFS, unfortunately router does not recognise it correctly (only hidden system partition is found). NTFS seems to work up to 10TB, anything bigger is not recognised.

 

Can you please advise, is there any possibiliy to make it working? OR if not can you please recommend different type of router which can reliably handle 20TB harddrive?

the type is Seagate One Touch Hub 20TB (Model No: STLC20000400).

 

Please let me know if you need further info.

 

PS: I did more testing and found that files/folders are also missing when connected via FTP, so it is not only Samba issue.
