Hi, 

 

Will there be a firmware update to seamlessly recognize and an updated the list of Tapo devices? Currently, I would need to reset the device to add it with the Deco, however it has not been able to connect to the device(s). 

 

I have reset the Deco and the Tapo devices several times with no luck. I know with the Kasa devices, there was no need to add them manually, it would be great Tapo devices to seamlessly be added to the Demo app as well. 

 

Anyone else have any other tips and tricks to get them to communicate?

thank you for the quick response and the firmware update option, however, it seems to be for Deco M9 plus v. 2.  My hardware is v1.1, will it work for it or do I have to wait?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Sorry, the 1.8.1 version for Deco M9 Plus_V2/V2.2 doesn't work for V1.0.

As Deco M9 Plus is EOL in many regions, I'm not sure how long it would take to have a similar firmware version for V1.0. 

It's difficult to say that waiting is a recommended option.
