Does leave the router turning on always It harms the router?
If I leave the router without resting it for a year, for example, is that wrong?
What is the best way to take care of the router?

Hi@Osama-Orabi,
Welcome to our community.
As a device designed for long-term use, the router will not be damaged quickly due to continuous operation.
Maintenance suggestions
- Restart regularly, but the frequency should not be too high. Avoid frequent power outages: daily switching may damage the circuit, so restart.
- Improve the heat dissipation environment by avoiding placement in a confined space or covering with debris.
- Clean regularly. After a power failure, use a soft brush or a hair dryer with cold air to clean the dust from the heat dissipation holes, approximately once or twice a year.
- Lightning protection and voltage stabilization: It is recommended to turn off the power in thunderstorms or use a lightning protection socket.
- Reasonable load: Avoid connecting too many devices, as excessive load may accelerate device aging.
