Model: Archer BE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20250314 rel.45415(4153)

Summary.

Request is the ability to configure and use a 2.5Gbe port as a WAN port.

Detail

The Archer BE800 has 2 x 10Gbe ports and 4 x 2.5Gbe internet ports.

10Gbe ports can be configured for WAN or LAN.

2.5Gbe ports can only be configured for LAN.

I would like to be able to use both 10Gbe ports for local lan connection to an editing/VR  PC and NAS or a backbone between BE800

I would like to be able to use a single 2.5Gbe port for PPPoE connection to the ISP.

Currently I am wasting a 10Gbe  port on a 1Gbs ISP fibre connection. This means practically only 1 x10Gbe port can ever be utilized at 10Gbs

I like most people will never see greater than 2.5Gbs  fibre from my ISP in the lifetime of this router .
