Model: Archer BE9300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20250317 rel.18331(5553)

First, I am a network engineer working in IT for roughly 30 years.

I have constant intermittent connection to the BE9300.

This has occurred using 5g and MLO connections.

At first I thought it was the Mac as nothing else - other mac laptop, windows laptop, ipad, multiple phones, firesticks, tv's etc - in the house have connection issues. After the rebuild I have the same issue.

I have been running a ping against the BE9300 and have a 1.1% packet loss at the time of this pos; just enough to make websites unresponsive, etc.

The Mac and Access point have been rebooted several times - no improovement.
This issue persists even if I am in the same room as the BE9300.
The house is all wood construction - no metal framing.

Again, this is an issue with communication between the Mac and the BE9300

Hi@Littlebike,

I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

You mean only a specific device has Connection issues? You mentioned that other devices are working fine, so we can assume that the problem may be with the specific device itself. I suggest you check if there are any special settings on the specific Mac device.

For the settings on the router, the following suggestions are given:

  • Check the parental control function/Access control: Is the device blocked?
  • Wireless network optimization: Change the Wi-Fi channel and switch to a channel with less interference (such as an idle channel among 1, 6, and 11).
  • Turn off QoS or firewall: Temporarily disable the QoS function of the router to avoid bandwidth limitation.
  • Change the DNS server: Change it to 8.8.8.8 (Google) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare).
  • Hard reset the router: Reconfigure the network parameters (you can back up the router's configuration first).

Hi@Littlebike,

Welcome to our community.

Could you please turn off the MLO network? Could you test if the issue persists?

Also, could you tell me what the model and operating system of this specific Mac device is?
