So picture for context. From doorbell to end of drive about 4m. It barely detects anything. Sensitive is set to full. Motion on people on. Nothing. Only time it will detect is if I go out and stand directly in front of it.
Someone parked at bottom of our path last night, got out and went next door nothing. It also will not detect people walking on that footpath.
thinking of returning any ideas?
What is the wake-up type set for the doorbell? Check if it is set to 'doorbell-pressed', in which case, the doorbell will only wake up when someone presses it, and start detection and recording afterward.
Check if the detection zone is set correctly.
Test whether the detection works when watching live stream in the Tapo app (wake up the camera actively) and walking in front of the doorbell at the same time.
