Model: Tapo RV30 Max
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3

We're having an issue where the hoover stops and states the bumper is stuck when it isn't.

No foreign object in-between the bumper and sensors are clean (it's only 7 days old)

Has been working flawlessly up until today.

Tried pressing around the bumper and it feels fine and rebounds back the same all round.

I have tried all the tips on the troubleshooting page and I still get the error. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Follow the steps below for troubleshooting.

  1. Ensure the robot vacuum's firmware is up to date. How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
  2. Turn the robot vacuum over to inspect for any obstructions or foreign objects in the front bumper. If you find any, be sure to remove them.
  3. Manually press the front bumper to see if it rebounds normally. If it doesn't rebound smoothly, apply some lubricant to the green area shown in the image below (if available).

    Note: Do not apply lubricant to the cliff sensor, which is indicated in red.

What to do if the above suggestions do work?

  @Wayne-TP

Hi Wayne thanks for the guide but like I stated I've been through it and tried it. I've now sent the product back and ordered another. Thank you.
