Recently router(AX55 AX3000) don't show 5Ghz on mobile phone but on laptop its working, I tried to seperatly wifi GHZ but nothing even reset it

Note: I recently added another router of tplink as wifi extender but connect using ethernet its model is AX12 I don't know if thats issue or something. But if GHZ issue why its working on laptop as well thats where Im confused. I tried in like 5 phones its not showing before it was fine. I even tried custom channel.

If anyone have solution please let me know.

By default the channel setting of the router will be set to "Auto", which means it will change channels on its own. That could be what happened 2 days ago.

 

The channels can be changed like shown in the screenshot below. It also can be done via the Tether app, if you find the menu for that.

Hi,

 

Make sure the 5 GHz band of your Archer AX55 is set to a channel number that is legally permitted for use in your country.

 

Modern smartphones of the major brands may refuse to work on non-legal channels.

How can I do do that? like check it was working fine 2 days before. only getting issue in android i checked on iphone its working.

Still confused why this happening lol suddenly stopped working.

Hello @AhmadYasin,

Welcome to our community.

 

The problem is probably caused by the inconsistency between the router channel mentioned by Woozle and the mobile phone's adapted channel. I would suggest that you continue to observe for a while, if you don't mind. If the same situation happens again, it would be best for you to use an iPhone to check the 5Ghz channel.
