Error message –

Error code: 18005

Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.

I have chosen version –

Published Date: 2022-11-23         / TL-WR841N(US)_V14.8_220816 from India website but it is not working.

 

 

Kindly help.

As Woozle said, different hardware versions correspond to different firmware versions.

If the regional version of your device is displayed as EN, you can also try the firmware on the global official website:TL-WR841N/ND(EN)_V10_200325

Hi,

 

That is as expected.

 

A firmware version designed for the TL-WR841N V14 cannot be installed on a TL-WR841N V10.

 

To see the firmware files available for your TL-WR841N V10 you have to select "V10" under "Please choose hardware version".
