Wi-Fi Connectivity Drops Frequently in EasyMesh Setup
Hello TP-Link Team,
I’m encountering a critical issue with my EasyMesh network setup using an Archer C64 (main router with PPPoE) and Archer C6 V4 (mesh node).
### Issue:
Every 1–2 days, the Wi-Fi stops working. Devices can see the SSID, but get stuck on “Connecting…” and fail to obtain IP addresses. There is no internet access.
More importantly, **I cannot access the web interface or the Tether app during this time** — the Archer C64 becomes unresponsive. **A normal reboot is not possible** because I can't connect to it in any way. The only way to recover is to **manually power off and on the C64 router.**
### Setup:
- Archer C64 (main router using PPPoE)
- Archer C6 V4 (connected via EasyMesh wirelessly)
- DHCP enabled on C64
- Firmware: Latest on both devices
- Fast Roaming and Band Steering tested ON/OFF
- PPPoE Reconnect Mode: Always On
- MTU: Set to 1492
- Auto reboot scheduled daily (but doesn't prevent crash)
### Troubleshooting Attempts:
- Full factory reset and mesh reconfiguration
- Changed DHCP lease time
- MTU adjusted
- Auto reboot enabled
- Fast Roaming/Band Steering toggled
### Request:
This seems like a critical crash or hang — possibly related to PPPoE or DHCP under EasyMesh. Since the router becomes completely unresponsive, only a full power cycle helps. Please investigate if this is a known bug or if a firmware patch is planned.
Thanks for your assistance.
Best regards,
MD. HIMEL ALI
