Hi,
yesterday I bought TD-W9980 Modem Router.
and after like 20 minutes of surfing on the internet I noticed that the router's temperature feel very high
I didn't make exact measures but it doesn't feel like the temperature should be that high

anyone else had that problem maybe knows how to solve it?

Is it placed in ventilatory location?
You may try to cool it down using a fan. If it is over heating indeed, you can ask for a replacement under warranty.

I'm using a TD-W8980. I had the same issue with you when I bought this router. It was in a well ventilated area but the air temp is 30+c so it doesnt really help. It was freezing due to overheating. I had to use a usb laptop cooler to cool the router. Since then I never had an issue with the router.

Before using the fan the router was hot to the touch. Im guessing around 40c.
