Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : latest

ISP : Bezeq

Our ISP's is deploying lines that uses G.Vector technology,
and to my understating without a supporting router-modem, we're gonna have a bad time :)

Is there any plans for realeasing a firmware update for the W9980 modem-router for supporting this?

If W9970 is available in your country, you are suggested to change W9980 to W9970 which supports G.Vector.

Your suggestion costs money ;)
My W9980 is brand new, and W9970 is inferior to 9980 by its abilities and features, in comparison to the 9980 model (like the lack of dual band support)

So i'll be glad to know if there is a firmware update planned in the near future
( Some google forum post suggests that a support guy said there will be an update, but that was 6 months ago )

Unfortunately, W980 won't support G.Vector in future.
If you need a dual band one, both VR200 and VR900 support it as well.

Both of them are not sold in my country unfortunatley :(

It is not true. I confirmed with TP-LINK and it is verified that TD-W9980 won's suppot G.Vector.
