Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20241227

Hello,

All units were working fine since purchase but one day I noticed that all clients/devices connect to only one unit (I have 2 Deco X20 units). I Tried to set my device's connection preference to connect to the other unit but unfortunately my device cannot connect to it and it keeps kicking out my device from the network unless I delete my device from the client list then try again to only be connected to the working unit. I think one of my devices lost all wireless capabilites as it cannot be connected to the network wirelessly, and when connected via Ethernet, no client can connect to it (All clients are being connected to the other working unit), tried factory resetting the device then updating the firmware again, but still no luck. Unit was purchased 6 months ago, not sure if it's a hardware issue. No physical damage and it never overheated. Are there any solutions for this?

Thank you so much, please help :(

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback.

If possible, please switch the power adapters of these two Deco X20s, then try to set this "problematic" Deco X20 as the main Deco to see if it behaves the same:

How to replace the main Deco with another Deco

If it behaves the same when working as the main Deco, it is suggested to refer to this link to run a firmware recovery:

How to use firmware recovery if the Deco become brick

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
