Connecting Ethernet Cable Brings Down Internet

After working without issue for some time, my Deco system now shuts down completely (red light, no internet) when the topmost Ethernet port is connected to my Ethernet switch. The switch is a Netgear model known to be fully compatible with Deco, and it worked fine previously. I have switched out the Ethernet cable for a new one; that made no difference. I suspect the issue has something to do with backhaul, but I have very little technical knowledge about networking equipment -- I bought this system hoping it would just work. Any ideas?

Hi, can I have a diagram of your network topology? Is it like:
ISP modem---main Deco XE75 Pro(top-1)--- Netgear switch?
or
ISP modem------Netgear switch---(top-1)main Deco XE75 Pro
(If Deco XE75 pro works in the dedault router mode, the first one is recommended.General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco)
"My Deco system now shuts down completely (red light, no internet) when the topmost Ethernet port is connected to my Ethernet switch."
As there are three Ethernet ports on the main Deco XE75 Pro, did the issue only occur on the top port?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP It's the first one: ISP modem---main Deco XE75 Pro(top-1)--- Netgear switch. I have other Deco units that connect either via the Netgear switch or through Wi-Fi. But connecting the switch to the top port now brings down the main Deco and therefore the rest of the network.

Hi, thanks for the update.
Did it only occur to the top 1 port?
As Deco XE75 pro has 3 Ethernet ports, apart from the ISP modem-connected port and the top 1, there should be one left. Would the network switch work with this port?
Apart from Deco units, do you have any other wired devices connected to the Netgear switch?
You can also check whether the report case is quite like the following post:

Wait for your reply.
Best regards.
