Here are the steps to set up Open VPN on client on the router, please confirm that you have set it correctly:

1. Preparation, before configuring the VPN Client on the Router, you will need these details from your VPN providers:

    1) VPN username and password.

    2) VPN server address (domain name or IP address).

    3) OpenVPN configuration file, the file usually ends with .ovpn.

    4) Test the ovpn configuration file on your computer, make sure it works properly.

2. Login the Management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > VPN Client > Enable it and select OpenVPN Client.

3. Fill in the information required and import the ovpn file provided by your VPN provider.

4. Select the client devices that you want to use VPN with, only those selected clients' traffic will go through the VPN tunnel, other clients won't be affected.

Note1: If your VPN Provider provides multiple OpenVPN related files (including .ovpn, .crt, .key, etc.), you will have to merge the files before importing it into the Router, please follow this FAQ to merge the files first: Manually create the unified format for OpenVPN profile(CyberGhost OpenVPN Server).
