Hello everyone,

I'm switching ISP and will be using a TP-Link VX800v router provided by the provider.

I would like to use my own router (TP-Link Omada ER7412-M2) as the main router for NAT, VPN, firewall, and all routing tasks.

My plan is to connect the VX800v to the DSL line (TAE socket), and then connect LAN1 of the VX800v to the WAN port of the ER7412-M2.

Ideally, the VX800v should operate in bridge mode or PPPoE passthrough, so it does not perform NAT or routing.
PPPoE authentication and public IP assignment should be handled entirely by the ER7412-M2.

My question:
Does the VX800v support DSL bridge mode or PPPoE passthrough?
If not, is there an alternative (e.g. DMZ or NAT bypass) to allow my router to receive the public IP directly?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards
