Deco X50-5G New update 1.3.0 Build 20250724 Rel.41491

I just got offered to update to 1.3.0 Build 20250724 Rel.41491
Did anybody else update to it?
I haven't yet.
@David-TP In the case that the update is faulty, can i downgrade back to Firmware-Version: 1.2.1 Build 20250413 Rel.
44588 without any extra steps?

@David-TP Please get the engineers to work on the 5G compatibility for CelcomDigi telco in Malaysia. It's been horrendous for the past 11/2 years. Kept going up and down all day long.

I didn't have big issues with 1.2.1, and after running 1.3.0 for a couple of days it seems to be identical to 1.2.1 in pretty much every respect.
Occasionally disconnects, but has come up without having to reboot so far. I have set up the router to reboot weekly, usually the memory usage creeps up towards the end of the week.

I had updated to version 1.3.0 and had a few more random freezes and disconnects.
Just tried to recover to version 1.2.2 (with the hope to then go back to 1.2.1) via the recovery mode and now the device won't boot at all just stuck with a yellow flashing light.
Think its broken

Hi, may I know how long you have had the Deco X50-5G?
If you hold the reset pinhole for 1s, will it respond to the factory reset, turning to flashing blue?
It is also suggested to test whether it could get into firmware recovery mode again and test whether we can revert back to the 1.3.0 version.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.
There is a beta firmware for Deco X50-5G that might improve the network stability. I've left a message with this beta version.
It is suggested to install this firmware to see whether it helps.
(This firmware could revert the official 1.3.0 directly via web UI.)
If unfortunately, the 5G still drops out, please save a copy of the web UI system log and forward to support.forum@tp-link.com

@David-TP hi David,
I had the router in September 2023
No the reset button only seems to put it back into recovery mode.
Without that its just trying to boot all the time with a flashing yellow light. You hear the fan start up with flashing yellow light, then the fan stops and it reboots and keeps doing this.
I tried to flash 1.3.0 but it fails. The only one I can successfully flash is the 1.2.2 recovery firmware, but it just won't boot

Hi, thank you very much for the update.
In this way, I think you might need to contact the local technical support for warranty service:
