Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I would like to have some assistance with home network configuration for Wireguard. I'm running home assistant on Raspberry Pi5 with add-ons running Wireguard and DuckDNS servers. I have configured my router Archer MR600 to reserve static IP for home assistant and to have NAT forwarding / Virtual server enabled. My target is to use remote control for home assistant, but it seems that I'm not able to get connection working through the router. Any tips what to try next? Or is my router just not able to support this connection method?

Thanks for the advice. I requested information from service provider and got reply that they use strict NAT. They gave me APN address that I can use with my router. That did the trick and now I'm able to use wireguard as intended.

  @Pykalisto

Hi, welcome to the community.

It is suggested to check the IPV4 address on the Archer MR600 first. Most SIM ISPs use CG-NAT service, and there is no public IP for remote access.

For more details, please refer to:CG-NAT Blocks my OpenVPN and restricks the NAT type

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
