NX200 V2.0 Poor wifi range

I have had a 5G modem for a couple of months and I noticed that the WiFi on both bands has a very low range, so I had to buy a RE505X repeater. My friends with the same modem with version 2.2 have excellent WiFi coverage. Is the difference due to the hardware or is it a firmware problem?

Can you share more details about the WiFi coverage of the Archer NX200? Or how do you test its WiFi coverage?
The same model with different hardware versions is almost equally matched in WiFi coverage.
It is also suggested to check the location of the Archer NX200 to make sure it is not covered and within clear sight.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I tested the modem at my friend's house. His modem has a range from the second floor to the ground floor, while my modem barely reaches the first floor, obviously both were in the same location.

Hi, thank you very much for the update and sorry for the delay in responding. I tried resetting the modem, but there's no improvement. The RE505X repeater was updated a few days ago and his connection is more stable now.
