I just bought NX 200. I like it, but my main goal was to have with as a VPN Client for Surfshark. I don't see this option here. Any plans to introduce it soon or should I return the item?

I'm afraid there hasn't been further updated news about whether or when Archer NX200 will support VPN Client.
If you just bought Archer NX200, Deco X50-5G might be a good alternative, and it supports VPN Client:
