DSL Modem Router with Easy Mesh
MESH Problems
I bought an Archer AR2100 dsl modem/router and WPA8631P powerline extenders kits. Specficically so I could make a One MESH network.
However in the recent firmware upgrades the WPA8631P devices have been moved onto EASY MESH , and do not have ONE MESH .
Even though the product boxes have One Mesh on them, and the TPLink website listed them as OneMesh .
But in the AR2100 router there is only One Mesh, not Easy mesh. And there is no similar firmware upgrade for the Router to move to EasyMesh.
Maybe I need to replace my DSL modem router with one with EasyMesh?
But I can not locate any TPlink product .
The only DSL modem router listed with Easymesh is the Archer 1800 , but there is a message in the website to say it weill not work with TPlink 8631 powerline extenders.
Can anyone suggest a way around this?
I want my router and extenders all on the same mesh network, so that client devices automatically pass onto the nearest strongest signal.
It is very frustrating that the WPA 8631 extenders are sold as OneMesh, but are actually Easymesh.
