I thought all modern XPON routers already have these options by default. Seems like I was wrong :(

Thank you all for your feedback. Your voices are heard and brought to the decision-makers. They are actively evaluating the feasibility.

I personally want to confirm with you guys that you're still keeping the XX530v GPON router even though it doesn't work with your internet? Or you guys have already set it up to connect to the internet, but prefer having more customized OMCI settings? Or you have already purchased a GPON router from another brand, but would still like to see more open settings on the TP-Link unit.

Just free discussions, and it's absolutely OK if you don't want to share the current situation.

@alb3530 Yeah, TP-Link should ABSOLUTELY support it.
SW1/SW2, HW, FAKE_OK, OMCC, CWMP Class, Equipment ID etc. should ALL be added, if TP-Link really want to compete against others.

Just saying "made for ISPs" will make this product worse and seen as an inferior product, even if it's a really good one.
I would suggest TP-Link to look into this at the best interest of the consumers (end-users and ISPs), and be transparent about it.
I myself have been using it, and although it suffices my needs, I still want this product to be as useful as other brands and not just a s**tbox with wi-fi.

I'm only using it as a Wi-Fi router; I really wish I could use its full potential.

@Kevin_Z I'd keep mine and use it as a router.

Currently, I can use it with my ISP, but changing ISPs is a possibility for me, so in current XX530v (V1) status, I can be limited by the options.
