Model: Archer TX20UH
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: unknown

Have a problem where every hour starting from the DHCP lease acquired time the adapter seems to stall and no data is passed through for several seconds. Then the data floods in - typically some 60 incoming packets arrive. This happens for both constant timestamped streams (where can see the latency of 3 - 4 seconds rapidly reduces to < 0.5 second) and in tests for constant pinging of google and local routers.

Extensive testing and elimination leads to it being either a Windows issue dealing with the wifi adapter or something the adapter or driver is doing on the clock. All the standard TP troubleshooting suggestions and reinstalls etc have been done and checked and cannot find any fault with setup or usage.Resetting the wifi so it obtains a new IP lease simply changes the next stall to occur one hour after that !

Initially it was thought to be just hanging but there appears to be no data loss and the packets duly arrive.

Any pointers welcome
