After Update 1.1.4 (1.1.3 is the same) weak and Slow Wifi
After the firmware update (1.1.3 and 1.1.4), the Wi-Fi signal became weak and slow. Previously, the Wi-Fi signal was 200 Mbps at a distance of about 10 meters, now it's 30-40 Mbps, and the connection sometimes drops. A full reset didn't help.
I reinstalled 1.1.2, which works without any problems.

Dear Kevin,
thank you for your effort in helping us with our problems but please inform tp-link developers that customers are not paid to be quality test engineers. Instead we pay our money to get well tested and reasonably bug free products.
i mean when tp-link issues a firmware that drops the wifi performance with every client (pc, android, iphone etc) it means that the engineers did not even tested the speed with a single device. They made the changes, saw that devices mostly connect and issued it expecting the customers reaction and problems.
This is completely unprofessional and totally unacceptable not to mention partially illegal as many times the devices lose their advertised specifications and capabilities.
Thank you again and please pass the message

Today I installed the new firmware version 1.2.1. My speed is back, but stability is gone. Speed tests aren't always consistent, and jitter is usually very high, but sometimes it's as it should be. I wanted to reinstall 1.1.2, but it didn't work after the update. Is this a bug ?
When you're saying the speed is not consistent and jitter is very high, do you mean the speed is not stable? From your statement, I would like to clarify whether this is a speed concern in your network or a stability concern. When we are talking about stability, we generally mean the network connectivity. Is the network connectivity stable?
Please check and ensure you're not enabling QoS.
We also suggest resetting the BE550 to its factory defaults and reconfiguring it from scratch to check if the speed remains consistent.
It's also recommended that you discuss this issue with our engineering team via email, as we escalated your case to them last week. We hope they can verify unintended behavior quickly.

During my weekend tests of Firmware 1.2.1, I observed that the problem stemmed from the WLAN channel. Speeds were unstable on channels 52-64. Channels 36-48 showed no problems. Until now, I'd been using channels 52-64 because they weren't used in my area. Unfortunately, since I couldn't revert to the old firmware, I started using channels 36-48.
