Archer AX10 V2 missing “IoT Network” (V3 shows it) — firmware parity or hardware limitation?
On an Archer AX10 V2 unit, the Advanced > Wireless page does not show the dedicated “IoT Network” option described in TP-Link’s instructions, which say it should appear at Advanced > Wireless > IoT Network on supported routers .
Multiple Archer AX10 V3 firmware releases reference IoT configuration, and the V3 line is actively maintained on regional download pages, indicating IoT Network is present on the V3 hardware/firmware branch .
Requesting clarification: Is IoT Network supported on AX10 V2 at all, and if not, is there a planned firmware that enables it on V2, or is this feature limited to AX10 V3 due to hardware differences? .
Steps already tried:
• Upgraded to the latest firmware available from the local TP-Link regional download site and confirmed successful update steps as per TP-Link guidance to avoid cross-region firmware and upgrade issues .
• Checked both the web UI and Tether app after firmware update; the IoT Network section still does not appear under Advanced > Wireless on the V2 hardware .
• Performed a factory reset and reconfigured, then rechecked Advanced > Wireless for the IoT Network option; still not present on V2 hardware .
Ask to TP-Link:
• Please confirm whether AX10 V2 supports the IoT Network feature and, if not, whether feature parity can be added via firmware or if the difference is tied to hardware/SoC changes introduced in AX10 V3 .
• If V2 cannot receive IoT Network via firmware, please update the model documentation/FAQ to explicitly note the feature is V3-only so buyers can plan around this for smart-home deployments
