Model: Archer GE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 Build 20250802 rel.21667(4555)

Hello,

After last FW update 1.3.0 Build 20250802 rel.21667(4555) is Disney+ inaccessible and WiFi 6G in 802.11ax/be mixed mode is broken, i see that network, but devices refuse to connect.
All worked perfectly fine in previous firmware, only 6G was a bit like with a bigger ping here and there.

In the latest update, WiFi 6G must be set only in 802.11ax mode in order to connect to the given network.

As for Disney+, it doesn't work on PC, phone or TV, i.e. the entire network.
I tried a total factory reset so that the router was as it was when it was first started, and manually updated it to the same FW if there was error during the automatic update, and then factory reset again.
Nothing helped.

Disney+ works perfectly on my provider's router and Disney+ has no problem with it (I contacted their support), it just stops working when I go through the GE800 router. It works fine when I go through mobile data.
So the latest router update is really to blame.
And of course downgrade FW is not possible.

So now, thanks to a bad update, I can't use the paid service I pay for, and it's not exactly cheap.

And the router wasn't exactly cheap either.

So I'm wondering what went wrong in the last update that Disney+ has a problem with, and WiFi 6G ax/be?

Disney+ errors on phone: 73, on TV: 1026, on PC: generic error: something went wrong etc

Thanks for help or some tips if there is any way to downgrade the FW.

Hello @Vaan, thank you very much for posting on the TP-Link Community.

To help assist and streamline the identification of the behavior, could you please send the configuration file on the GE800 via email to support.forum@tp-link.com?

BTW, what devices do you require to connect to the 6G network? None of them can connect to it when you choose the 802.11ax/be mixed mode?

 Hello  @Kevin_Z ,

Tested on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 7.

All saw the network, but after entering the correct password the network reported no network access, or the network disappeared from the network selection after a failed connection attempt.

After changing to 802.11ax only, all devices were able to connect without any problems.

I found out that MLO couldn't even function properly because 6G only works in 802.11ax/be mode ( in MLO ), so the device only accessed the 2.4G/5G network.

I had to turn it off to find out the cause of the 6G malfunction and I found the problem in the 802.11ax/be mixed mode.

I sent a backup of the router settings to the given email.
