Archer BE550 V1 Firmware 1.2.1

I've noticed there's now a Kill Switch option for the VPN Client! What else has changed in this firmware version? The release notes for this update aren't available yet.

Hi,
The VPN Kill Switch is a feature of the router's VPN Client. If you are talking about the VPN Server, then this will not affect you.

I've just tested the OpenVPN Server myself on my BE550 V1 with firmware 1.2.1 and it works fine for me. I am using the same settings for the OpenVPN Server like you (which are the default settings).
However, I must point out that I have already done what I always do whenever a major new firmware version comes along, which is to perform a factory reset and then configure all the settings of the router again from scratch. I didn't test OpenVPN right after the firmware update.
