I recently obtained an AX53 router and it is setup and working.

The firmware status is as shown below:

Router Firmware Status

I have unsuccessfully tried to update the firmware, several times, via the internet, without success and the latest version of firmware is not listed on the support page.

Any help would be much appreciated.

try using the TP link tether app to update the firmware.

BT Full fibre 500, 1x X60 V3.2 in router mode and 1 x XE75Pro V2.

@jazzman22 Using the Tether app the Firmware update was completed but when going back to System > Firmware Update the update is still available, i.e. "New Firmware Available"

@jazzman22 After reading another thread, on the same issue, I down loaded the oldest firmware version available, which was newer than mine and completed the update locally. This seems to have worked. As you can see I'm now on v.1.2.2. so I guess that is the way to go.
