DoH not working on samsung phones
When using DNS over HTTPS and a samsung phone is set to "private DNS Automatic" mode, I lose connectivity and websites give a DNS error. I'm using an S25 Ultra.

@qazwsxedc16 Tried using DoT and that causes the phone to not obtain an IP address. No matter what setting on the phone is used.

If you turn off "private DNS Automatic" , will it access internet?
In the router settings, change the DNS to a public DNS (such as 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1) , please refer to How to Change the DNS servers.

@Joseph-TP Turning automatic to off dosen't solve the problem. And I used 1.1.1 by default anyway.

Have you checked with samsung support to see if your S25 Ultra's "Private DNS Auto" mode is actually using DoT or DoH?
It is recommended that you confirm this before reconfiguring DoH/DoT on the router: How to configure DoH/DoT on a TP-Link Wireless router.
Alternatively, turn off "Private DNS Auto" and DoH/DoT to see if the phone can access the internet normally.

@Joseph-TP Turning privates DNS in andriod settings to off doesn't fix it. It seems having DoT or DoH on in the router causes my samsung phone to missbehave no matter what setting is used on the phone.

@qazwsxedc16 I have tried all possible combinations of settings: DoT on router with private DNS on phone set to off and on, DoH on the router with private DNS on phone set to off and on. Each setting results in DNS probe errors on the phone. No app or web browser can access the internet with DoT/DoH on in the routers settings. All other devices continue to work.
