Hi , 
I've just upgraded to firmware 2.2.1Build 20250725 rel.9119(5553) and now when I use my VPN to connect to our data center I can't copy any files from any of the serves to my local PC.  This would normally work fine, I would connect to the VPN and then use Windows explorer to connect to teh URI can copy a file to my local PC.  

 

Now the copy fails to start and all network activity stops .

 

The only thing changed is the Router firmware version.  

 

Where can I get a list of firmware versions to rollback to .  This page https://www.tp-link.com/au/support/download/archer-ax11000/#Firmware only shows firmware up to Archer AX11000(US)_V1_1.3.4 Build 20230906 for V1 .

 

If my hardware version is v1.0 why did the Check for updates button load 2.2.1 Build 20250725 rel.9119(5553)  .  Is it fine to use this firmware?

We have released a beta firmware for Archer AX11000 V1 to fix this anomaly: Unable to End Speed ​​Test When Using L2TP/IPsec VPN Server.

You can also test whether this beta firmware can fix the anomaly you are experiencing, if needed.

I have similar issue with smb file transferring local file to data server when using VPN. Firmware version Archer AX11000 v1.0 on 2.2.1 build

The transferring will stop and sometime result corrupt files.

Could you please tell me what type of VPN you're using? For example, an OpenVPN client or an IPSec VPN server? 

Please send the screenshots with the error message here.

 

I will send you both the beta firmware via Message, please install it and update to the beta manually.

Manual Upgrade Instructions(Case 1 in the following FAQ):  How to upgrade the firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers.

 

@GregObleshchuk , if you can detect the new firmware, you can try updating it. This is because it's a notification pushed through the cloud system.

I am using OpenVPN and tunnelblink as client in Mac. I believe this is not only happend to VPN but aslo local as well while doing SMB file transfering.

I will try to screen catpure next time when there is an error.

Have you also encountered problems transferring files to your local machine via VPN?

What is the firmware and hardware version of your router? Is it V1_2.2.1 Build 20250725 rel.9119(5553)?

  @Joseph-TP  Could you send me the beta version of the update too? I have similar smb issues since the update. I spent more than a few hours on this and then found this forum.
