Phenomenon:

We have received feedback from Archer AX11000 users that after updating Archer AX11000 V1 to 2.2.1, if the L2TP/IPsec VPN Server is enabled and the Internet Speed Test function is run, the Internet Speed Test function unexpectedly continues running without ending. Disabling the L2TP/IPsec VPN Server allows the Internet Speed Test function to run again.
Additionally, even if the Archer AX11000 network is running normally, there may be situations where it is impossible to log in to the Archer AX11000 web interface.

Available Solution:

Our relevant department has identified the cause of these unexpected behaviors and provided a beta firmware to fix these anomalies. This beta firmware has been verified by boyalone18. Please download the following beta firmware and verify if it works:

@Joseph-TP would you kindly have a look at this issue which I don't think is related, but if the engineers are looking at the AX11000 firmware it might be an easy fix?

@Joseph-TP I had installed the latest version of this unearthly bad firmware via the update function on the router main page. The version was something like July 2025 or so.The router kept crashing multiple times a day. Accessing the router through the app would crash the router after a few function were used. I had to manually unplug the router and restart that darn thing 5-6 times a day.

Why is it that the router will not update to the latest available version that is stable? Clicking on the check firmware button would only return that the latest version is installed. I mean this is by no means a cheap router at a price of USD350. I really expect that the firmware posted for installation is free of bugs and a thorough QA was done before releasing.

After now updating the Firmware to the September 2025 version it seems that the router works a bit better.
