Archer AX11000 v1.0 upgrade to 2.2.1 Build 20250725 rel.9119(5553)
Hi ,
I've just upgraded to firmware 2.2.1Build 20250725 rel.9119(5553) and now when I use my VPN to connect to our data center I can't copy any files from any of the serves to my local PC. This would normally work fine, I would connect to the VPN and then use Windows explorer to connect to teh URI can copy a file to my local PC.
Now the copy fails to start and all network activity stops .
The only thing changed is the Router firmware version.
Where can I get a list of firmware versions to rollback to . This page https://www.tp-link.com/au/support/download/archer-ax11000/#Firmware only shows firmware up to Archer AX11000(US)_V1_1.3.4 Build 20230906 for V1 .
If my hardware version is v1.0 why did the Check for updates button load 2.2.1 Build 20250725 rel.9119(5553) . Is it fine to use this firmware?

hello @xiekai37 ,
Could you take some screenshots with the error message and send them here?
Please manually set your DNS server to a reliable public DNS server (such as 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1) and ensure the settings are correctly saved. Here are the steps to change the DNS server on your TP-Link router: How to Change the DNS servers on the wireless router?
How about other clients? Can they access the internet normally?

Helllo @ZakCT ,
Could you provide more details about your router?
Is the VPN data transmission anomaly caused by a firmware update? What VPN is it? Do you have any screenshots of the related error messages?
I will send you the beta firmware. For insurance, it's always recommended to save a copy of the router's Backup Config file before upgrading.
