Cannot login into AX55 1.4.1
Cannot login into AX55 1.4.1
Hi, from this morning I cannot login any more into the main AX55 firmware 1.4.1. I tried to reboot multiple times.
It gives me "operation failed" from the web interface. Same error if I try to use the tplink login. Tether login works correctly. I upgraded to 1.4.1 yesterday and I could connect to the web GUI until yesterday evening.
Any idea on how to solve?

Hello @sperla ,@Giang97 &@woozle ,
We have a temporary solution for this case: Please export a new OpenVPN server configuration file and distribute this new file to clients again.
More details, please refer to Connecting to OpenVPN Server on the Archer AX53/AX55 may Cause Unstable Web Interface Logins.
Best Regards.

Hi,
Have you already tried with another web browser (preferably one that you don't usually use to log into your AX55)?
Or if you only have one web browser installed, then delete the browser cache and after that try again to login.

@Giang97 I may have found a workaround by enabling https. For now it's working.

There have been comments from other users in this forum that OpenVPN ceased to allow access to local ressources after updating to the latest firmware.
All I can say is that OpenVPN is working fine for me on my already factory-reset AX55 with firmware version 1.4.1.
After the update to 1.4.1 I did not try OpenVPN before I reset the router, so I can't tell whether I would have faced the same problem.

Thanks for contacting our community.
@sperla , Do you mean that you have enabled DoH to log in to the web UI of the Archer AX55?

@Joseph-TP not DOH, just the use of https for the web interface into the system/management section.

I think my case is the same as Sperla. I am at another place using VPN s2s to connect to my home network. And the issue routers location are at my home. Before the upgrade, i can access the routers through http. But not now, after the upgrading. The error message is operation failed and it's back to the login page.
