Firmware Version: 2.3.0 Build 20250428 Rel.18967

Does anyone know

if it is possible to set up a backup link on this router for specific devices only?

Currently, I only have an LTE stick in the USB slot, but I have not been able to filter devices even through routing, which apparently requires load balancing to be enabled.

I only have limited data, so I would like to have a backup only for devices intended for work.

Thank you for your post. You mentioned that you currently have only one USB WAN connection, which means all traffic will always go through this WAN. If you had multiple WANs, you could set up policy routing so that only specific clients use the USB WAN when the other WANs go offline. Below is the FAQ on configuring Policy Routing—please take a look.

Actually, I have one WAN to the main ISP and the other is LTE.

Even though I enabled load balancing and disabled link backup.

So after disconnecting the Internet from WAN, devices from the NON_LTE group still had access to the Internet via USB LTE.

And I would like only the GROUP_LTE group to be able to use USB LTE as a backup.

For the second-day rule, you need to select both WAN interfaces—make sure the LTE WAN is also checked. When WAN1 goes down, this group will then fail over to the LTE WAN.
