there is no bandwidth control option in my modem settings
i see there is a new firmware 1.7.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 240929 Rel.31907n

does this new update add bandwidth control or not?
i only want to update if that option exists

also is it safe to update?
what are the chances of something going wrong and breaking the modem?
i never did a firmware update before so i am a bit scared

if the update does not add bandwidth control, what are the cheap/budget alternatives to control internet usage?
i want to limit my kids, they are always streaming and watching 4K netflix and it slows down the internet for everyone
