Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1.2141-00_422091_170518_004

I have a TL-PA4020P near router and TL-WPA4220 in salon room. Last 10 years works very good. The last 6 months have intermittent breaks of signal (Pixel and screen not updated but song is good).

The TV provider is Vodafone in Spain. This only happens when there is a program with very high audience (football, news) . And curiously if i see this same program twenty minutes later, going back, all work perfectly.

If i see a TV channel like Amazon Prime or Netflix, there are not any problem in one hour and a half for a film.

The provider always says there is a problem in PLC. But i thing is his problem or perhaps there is something i can make to solve this problem?

i have Though change hardware version , but is a relative high inversion and perhaps will have the same problem.

Hello  @Angel_Camacho ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve an unstable internet connection or intermittent operation with your Powerline Adapters:

1. Check Power Saving Mode: disable it using the tpPLC utility. For detailed instructions, How to enable/disable power saving mode on powerline adapters

2. Test Placement: Move your Powerline extender closer to the main router and the other Powerline adapter. Try placing them in the same room for testing to see if the issue persists.

3. Direct Connection Test: Connect your client devices directly to the main router to check if the issue is related to the Powerline connection or if it might be with your internet provider.

4. Isolate Device Issues: If the problem seems to affect only one client device, try connecting that device to a different network. Also, use different Ethernet cables or ports for wired devices to rule out cable or port issues.

Note: Since the issue only occurs during high-demand TV programs and not with streaming services, it may also be related to how your TV provider manages bandwidth during peak times. However, the above steps will help you confirm if your Powerline Adapters are working correctly.
