Can't control my tapo true internet just locally connect only and it said need to set DNS to 8.8.8.8

Do you mean the camera cannot be controlled remotely? Changing DNS is indeed one of the methods you can try to resolve it. Check this article for more suggestions. Cannot use the Tapo app to control my smart devices
