This Article Applied to:

Archer VX1800v_V1_1.4.0 Build 250417;

Archer VR600_V3_1.6.0 Build 230809.

Phenomenon:

When users try to configure an OpenVPN client on the Archer VX1800v/VR600 V3, they are typically required to enter authentication information such as a username and password.

Even if users enter this information correctly, they may receive a report that the OpenVPN client failed to connect to the third-party OpenVPN server.

Available Solution:

We have identified the cause, and the development team has provided beta firmware to address this unexpected behavior. Please download and install the following beta firmwares:

1. Complete network topology;
2. VPN type, including VPN provider;
3. Screenshots of relevant error messages, etc.
