In a typical broadband network using DHCP/DHCPv6 the Archer C6 fails to accept a IPv6 address from the network. IPv4 works fine.

 

We are the network admins and bought this router to have in our lab as one example of a home router. We have different ones (Asus/D-Link/...) that work fine in the exact same environment.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—router)))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

Please confirm that you are familiar with your IPv6 internet connection type and configuration details.
This FAQ will help you with configuring an IPv6 Internet connection: How to set up an IPv6 Internet connection.
However, there are a few exceptional cases where ISP only provides prefix-delegation, please refer to How to set up IPv6 service for some specific ISP for more details.

  @Joseph-TP Diagram as follows

 

Client Devices -- TP-Link Router -- Network switch -- Network Aggregate -- BNG

 

If I replace TP-Link Router with Asus Router/D-Link it works fine and the router gets a /128 as IA_NA and a /56 for IA_PD.
