BE800 - Stability problem with 1.3.1 update
10 days ago I installed latest update on my archer BE800.
It was just rening perfectly before.
After the update, I have some wifi instability over wifi 2.5 GHz and a lot of instability on wired port which is the worst. Especially it become difficult to access my Synology NAS and VM running on it.
I can't downgrade to previous version and see several similar problems other the net.
I try to change several setting but nothing change.
How can it be solved ?

Hello@Fredx_xda ,
Welcome to our community.
Have you changed any settings after the new firmware update?
May I know your complete network topology diagram? For example: ISP modem—router )))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
You mentioned an unstable 2.5 GHz wireless connection. Are you referring to the 2.4 GHz single band? Does the 5 GHz band run stably?
To help you efficiently, I've forwarded your case to the TP-Link support engineers, who will reach out to you using your registered email address later. Please keep an eye on your email inbox for follow-up.

Hello.
Sorry for typo mistake. It is 2.4Ghz.
I am behind Freebox ultra configured as Bridge. Category 8 cable between them
I am using a TPLink RE655BE as wifi repeater.
Synology 923+ using dedicated Ethernet port.
Denon DTH sound bar using a dedicated Ethernet port.
Denon Heos 5 using a dedicated Ethernet port.
Cosytouch using a dedicated Ethernet port.
Around 50 devices connected through wifi. IOT as well as smartphone, android tv... Around 30 on 2.4Ghz, 10 on 5Ghz and 7 on 6Ghz.
I try to manage router settings after update because of instability it is facing.
Limit 2.4Ghz band to 20MHz, enable/disable smart connect. Move some device to an IoT SSID. Changing RE655BE IP to 192.168.1.2....
Looking at the web interface right know, I discover some error. Some devices are reported on both wireless and wired connection. For exemple, cosytouch device as no wifi antenna and reported as connected through wired and wifi. Than suddenly replaced by Google nest mini...
Web server error, DHCP, Mdns error... ?

@Fredx_xda I’ve seen similar issues after the 1.3.1 update on the BE800. A few things you can try:
-
Give your NAS and other important devices static IPs outside the DHCP range.
-
Test the BE800 without the RE655BE repeater for a while to see if stability improves.
-
Set a daily auto reboot at night - this often helps with large networks (50+ devices)
