Sorry to bug the both of you but David won't be able to answer this till at least Sunday night when he is back at work. Either of you have any ideas on this?

I’m experiencing the same problem with the Deco BE63 continually dropping and reconnecting to the internet. I had expected it to be an upgrade from my previous Deco X90, which ran flawlessly without any connection issues. Despite several firmware updates, the problem persists. The disconnections repeatedly log me out of my home automation system, preventing remote access, which is extremely frustrating. 

 

Does anyone know of a reliable solution beyond the standard troubleshooting steps, which haven’t worked for me? Alternatively, is there any information about when the next firmware update might be released? 

 

I really regret buying it.

Did you have any luck here - mine seems to be doing exact same thing.  I tried rolling back, alas doesn't look like they allow that?  (umm, wut?) ...  I can get inconsistent pings out my wan port, and even directly wired into my main BE63, I get packet loss.  I hook up to my ISP directly and get perfect packets.  My CPU usage is 100% at times and this corresponds to when even the local packets drop at 10.1.1.1 to my main gateway.

The whole reason we (or at lease I) bought a Deco is so I don't have to spend a 3 hours troubleshooting wifi in my own home.  TP-Link, send help here otherwise, I'm out, and the rest of the world probably not far behind me.

  @wifishouldwork upgraded to a beta firmware and 99% of the issues went away Firmware 1.3.0 Build 26012212 Release. 11551
