Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Deco Mesh unit is stuck with a solid yellow LED and you are unable to reset it using the button or the app, even after removing the device from the app.

solid yellow light on your Deco indicates that the device is in the process of booting up. If it stays solid yellow indefinitely and does not respond to the reset button, this usually means the Deco unit may be bricked (unresponsive).

Here’s what you can try next:

1. Firmware Recovery: Please attempt a firmware recovery for your Deco unit. You can find detailed instructions in this FAQ: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2958/
2. Check Power Supply: Try using a different power adapter or power outlet to rule out any power issues.
3. Remove All Connections: Disconnect any Ethernet cables and other devices from the Deco, then power it on again to see if the issue persists.

If the above steps do not resolve the problem and your Deco remains unresponsive with a solid yellow LED, please contact TP-Link Support for further assistance. Be sure to mention all the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

We’re here to help you get your Deco Mesh system working again as soon as possible.
