Hi there!

 

We've TD-W9970 v3 300Mbps Wireless N USB VDSL/ADSL (the one with inner antenna) -in bridge mode PLUS Archer C80.

I had a hard time choosing between VR600 V3 AC2100, Archer AC2100 and Archer VX1800v modems, but in the end ordered the Archer VR600 V3 AC2100 because it was reasonably priced. Will we be satisfied with this product in terms of signal quality and Wi-Fi coverage?


I couldn't find any difference between the Archer AC2100 and the Archer VR600 V3 in the datasheets. Are they the same product? Also, why does the external power supply used vary by region?

 

Can you share the chipset and ram information used in these modems?

 

Latest firmware update was back in September 2024. Will the Archer VR600 V3 version continue to receive updates? The device has OneMesh support. Will EasyMesh support be available? Is this being considered in the product firmware update schedule?

 

I would like to express my gratitude in advance for your contributions to the subject through your answers.

AC2100 generally refers to the specifications of a modem, while the Archer VR600 is a modem model. Different models can have the same specifications; for example, the Archer VR600 and Archer VR2100 both have AC2100 specifications. Click here here to see their comparison.

 

Regarding chipset and ram information, we are sorry that we cannot provide them.

 

Electricity standards vary by region, so power adapter specifications also vary. We release products in accordance with local regulations.

 

We currently have no information on whether the Archer VR600 V3 will support EasyMesh in the future, including whether new firmware will be released. We recommend that you stay tuned to the official website for updates and device firmware updates.

Thank you for your reply. I purchased the Archer VR600 V3. Unfortunately, I regretted buying it. Hundreds of Errors (pkts) may appear on Downstream section. I say "may" because sometimes I see 8-10 errors in an half an hour, and 20 minutes later, the error count has surpassed hundreds, even thousands. Every time I restart the modem, the error section resets.

I've already started a thread. Could you please share your thoughts on what might be causing those errors? Because no one responded to my topic.

 

PS: Later I've noticed that ping is also irregular on this product.
