BE65 V1 - Lost connectivity
Hi every body,
i use TP-Link deco since several years with M9 Plus.
I had no problems with those AP.
I move for a larger home and i need to add an AP, so i bought a BE65.
All APs are wired to network and BE65 is set master.
BE65 is plugged in 2.5Gb.
Since th BE65 is in the mesh network i had to reboot it every week and now i set a reboot every morning to avoid problem.
The AP turn red and is not function until a reboot, in the same time the other M9 plus are still good and Internet is still good.
after reboot, everything works fine.
It seems that if i put the BE65 in Gb port, i have less problem.
I want to change my M9 plus for other Deco but i m wondering if it s a good idea.
Have you experiencing same problem ?
have a nice day.
Alex

Hi, welcome to the community.
Did you set Deco into "Access Point mode" under Deco App>More>Advanced>Operation mode?
Did all Deco units connect to the same Network switches, such as:
Internet---ISP router---network switch---Deco BE65(main Deco)
\----Deco M9 plus
-If yes, can I have the model number of your network switch?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hello David,
Yes i use the AP, in AP mode.
Internet---ISP Router---Firewall---Switch1(Mikrotik)---M9 PLUS
|---Switch2 (Zyxel) --- M9 PLUS
|---BE65 (2.5Gb)
|---PC (10Gb)
my Zyxel model is XGS1210-12.
when the BE65 turns red, i need to unplugged it because it is not available via the mobile app, the others M9 Plus turn red but Internet is still OK on wifi.

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.
After a factory reset of the Deco units, were you still having the reported issue here?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi, i have done a reset several times.
I am thinking that my AP has an issue. Some of my devices has issue to connect/reconnect to AP or have high latency in Wifi and i have no issue when i am wired.
For testing purpose, i swap master AP to a M9 plus AP. I will see if i still have issue. I am looking for changing my M9 plus for new model but with the BE65 issue, i m not looking for TP link for the moment.
