VX231v keeps ignoring saved settings
Hi,
I'm using a VX231v with a 2.4 Ghz Wifi for my home network. I don't need the 5 GHz band, so I want to disable it completely. However, this only works briefly; after disabling the 5 Ghz band and saving the settings, it just reappears on its own after a few minutes. Is this a known bug / Any ideas to prevent this behavior?
Update: Further troubleshooting the problem, it seems that after deactivating 5 Ghz, if I stay connected to the WebGUI, it stays off. As soon as I log out, it gets switched back on.
Update 2: Also tried connecting via the Aginet App. Same problem here unfortunately.

Found the culprit:
Looks like it's tied to the WiFi Scheduler, which seems to overwrite the individual frequency toggle settings. If it's active, the VX231v will always keep reactivating both 5 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz on its own when manually toggled off. If the schedule function is deactivated completely, this doesn't happen.

Hello @Dysomnia ,
If you change other settings, will they be saved normally? Please note the VX231v is a customized device specifically designed for local Service Providers. Its software is tailored to meet the unique requirements of these providers, ensuring alignment with their specific needs.
Due to the specialized nature of the firmware on your device, our ability to provide troubleshooting may be limited. We recommend contacting the technical support of your Service Provider who supplied the device, as they are best suited to provide the necessary assistance for your device.

Weirdly enough, it's only the 5Ghz on/off switch that has a life of its own. Everything else (SSIDs, transmission power, channel / frequency selection...) is being applied correctly.
I didn't receive the VX231v from my ISP - the additional monthly fee to "borrow" one of their managed routers is somewhat irritating; I also like to manage all of my tech stuff on my own, so I opted to do a manual setup with an ISP agnostic device, that also offers both old VDSL and Ethernet WAN for the upcoming switch to fiber optic.
So there's no branding or custom firmware on this device, currently it's
