Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.9.0 2.0.0 v603c.0

The WPS does not work -connect

USING THE Wireless- WPS- Advanced page 

 

When the web page connect button is pressed, it just keeps trying to connect.

The WPS continue to flash as expected, but does not connect.

 

Light stops flashing on the MODEM and the screen shows - 

 

Failed to add the device!

Thanks for contacting our community.

 

Would you like to create an EasyMesh network between the modem and your extender? What is the model, hardware, and firmware version of your extender? 

Due to the asynchronous nature of EasyMesh technology, it is currently necessary to temporarily disable EasyMesh and conventionally configure the extender.

 

Here are the suggested steps to restore your network connection:

  • Please temporarily disable EasyMesh on the VX420-G2H. 
  • It is recommended that you reset the Range Extender entirely before the Quick Setup.
  • Then, perform the Quick Setup on the Range Extender. 

 

Please keep an eye out for the next official firmware update for the VX420-G2H, as this unexpected behavior will be corrected

When activate WPS on VX420-G2h, you will then have two minutes to press the physical WPS button on the client device to connect them.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue as a "Recommended Solution". BTC:149wubkkfoLmNDjDbiTxx4ZU8mpcMA5CJt
