Hello  @Adrian_YWW ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

The reason for this is that different mesh technologies were developed to address compatibility and user needs in various ways. EasyMesh is a common standard designed to allow devices from different brands to work together seamlessly, while OneMesh is TP-Link's own solution for creating a unified mesh network with compatible TP-Link devices. This diversity allows users to choose the best solution for their specific environment and device compatibility requirements.

Hi,

Are you sure your Archer AX11000 supports EasyMesh?

This thread https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/665612?sortDir=ASC&page=6 has recent posts of other users asking for EasyMesh to be implemented on the Archer AX11000.

  @Adrian_YWW

The devil is in the details here.

There is probably at least a dozen different "Mesh" variants in existence by now. And [A]Mesh is not compatible with [B]Mesh or [C]Mesh.

As it stands, the Archer AX11000 has supported "OneMesh" for years, but apparently does still not support "EasyMesh". (unless you can spot the term "EasyMesh" somewhere)

The EX820, on the other hand, only supports "EasyMesh".
