Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.13.0 2.0.0 v6092.0 Build 240925 Rel.11089n

Hello,

I have a serious issue with my Archer VX1800v modem. Every evening, usually between 8 PM and 12 AM, the modem automatically reboots or disconnects from the internet.

I have already tried the following:
- Replaced the modem with a new one (same issue persists)
- Removed splitter and connected directly to the DSL line
- Updated to the latest firmware
- Connected modem to a different power outlet

However, the problem still continues.

Here are my DSL line stats:
SNR Margin (dB): 16.5 / 8.5
Line Attenuation (dB): 15.9 / 10.1
Current Rate (kbps): 51198 / 15357
Errors (pkts): 88318

System log shows repeating DHCP errors like:
“Recv no OFFER, DHCP Service unavailable”
“Send DISCOVER with request ip 0.0.0.0”

It looks like the modem loses IP from ISP and then restarts automatically.
Is this a known issue with the Archer VX1800v firmware or a compatibility problem with certain ISPs?
Please help me identify the cause or provide a firmware fix if available.

Thank you.

Hello @garagaya ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

Are you saying that you've already tested the network using two modems, and the network still disconnects at fixed times? If so, could it be due to network instability at the ISP's end? Please confirm the network operation during this time period with your ISP. Testing isn't just at the ISP's end; you need to test directly at your end.

Also, have you tried changing the cable between the ISP's equipment (e.g., NBN) and the modem?
